Basma Al-Harbi and Ibrahim Alabdulmohsin Successfully Completed Their PhDs in MINE Lab.

​MINE Lab has recently graduated two PhDs: Basma Al-Harbi and Ibrahim Alabdulmohsin. On March 7, 2017, Basma Al-Harbi successfully defended her PhD dissertation entitled "Latent Feature Models for Uncovering Human Mobility Patterns from Anonymized User Location Traces with Metadata". During PhD studies at MINE Lab, Basma published 1 KDD paper, 1 AAAI paper and 1 ICDM paper. Basma has joined King Abdulaziz University (KAU) as a Lecturer. 

Ibrahim Alabdulmohsin successfully defended his PhD dissertation entitled "Learning via Query Synthesis" on April 9, 2017. During PhD studies at MINE Lab, Ibrahim published 6 papers including 1 Machine Learning Journal paper, 1 AAAI paper, 2 CIKM papers, 1 ECML/PKDD paper, and 1 ACML paper.  Ibrahim will join Saudi Aramco soon. ​
